Teaching Philosophy:
I teach people voice lessons with the hopes that they will become just as passionate about the voice as I am. It is my philosophy to teach them fundamentals (how the voice works, breathing etc.) and the science behind it; how it's all connected and what it needs to be healthy and produce a beautiful sound. I get a feel for why the student wants to take lessons, and tailor the lessons to their individual need. I will teach the basics of classical singing first, as that is the proper base of learning to sing correctly and then as the student develops, add in repertoire that interests them and is aligned with what they wish to learn.
