Amanda's teaching philosophy:
"...I work hard to customize my teaching style to fit the individual student. I am able to use many images and analogies for those who think with pictures and I am also able to communicate the physiology behind playing an instrument for those wishing to have more concrete instruction. I employ the Socratic teaching method where I continually ask my students questions about their playing and they are able to critically reflect upon and observe their actions. My main goal is to make sure my students are able to enjoy their musical craft and have fun. This may mean diverging from traditional methods and exploring other genres. ..."
